Take a break from the summer heat at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts during the month of July. Bring the entire family to the Museum between 1 and 3 P.M. on July 12 or July 26 for Art a la Cart, an event free and open to all ages.
On these special Sunday afternoons, experience a guided tour of the Museum, and, afterwards, participate in a fun art activity Museum rotunda.
On July 12 guests will explore different landscapes within the Museum’s permanent collection and create their own pastel landscapes. On July 26 participants will explore Alabama Threads: African-American Quilts from the Permanent Collection and create their own “mini quilts”.
